Nautor's Swan Yachts have been in production for over the past 5 decades and are considered the Greyhounds of the Sea by both bluewater cruisers and offshore racers.  Built in Finland using the highest quality construction and latest designs.

"Dawn Treader" launched in 1998 is an excellent example of the German Frers design Swan 48 (1995-2003).  She has been a trophy winning racer/cruiser in both double handed and fully crewed regattas in the US,Canada and Europe.  Her beautiful teak interior is in excellent condition.  She has the tri-cabin layout with a center-line queen bed aft in the owner's cabin with separate head.  There are two (2) forward cabins with upper/lower bunks and shared head forward.  The salon is light and airy with a settee to starboard and table and removable chairs to port.  There is a large galley to port running aft in the owner's cabin with separate head.  The salon is light and airy with a settee to starboard and table and removable chairs to port.  There is a large galley to port running aft towards the owner's stateroom, with refrigeration/freezer, propane stove and ample storage.  The forward facing Nav Station in the main salon is large and accommodates a computer based Chart Plotter, VHF Radio, SSB Radio and SAT Phone along with a separate computer at the helm.  "Dawn Treader" also comes complete with two (2) sets of upholstery, floor boards and dining tables.  On deck "Dawn Treader" has an electric self-tailing main halyard winch, two (2) self tailing electric 3 speed Lewmar primary winches with auto shift along with secondary self-tailing spinnaker winches and main sheet winches.  She is fully equipped for Category 1 offshore racing or cruising.

"Dawn Treader" spends her summers in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, Spring and Fall on the Chesapeake Bay and winters in Charleston.  Meticulously maintained, she has been rated the "best maintained Swan 48 in the US".
