1998 Luhrs 36 Convertible

Great family, fishing, liveaboard boat!

Reel Addiction is a great example of Luhrs 36 Convertible owned and maintained by a knowledgeable owner. The Luhrs 36 Convertible focuses on functionality and comfort in an offshore hull ready to take its crew offshore fishing, diving, or just cruising down the ICW. 

The cockpit is huge with a large built in live well and tackle center.  Going up to the flybridge is easy up the wide secure stairs, very different from the narrow steep ladders of other sportfish.  The fly bridge has two chairs (new) at the helm, plus ample seating for 3-4 in front of the helm station. A large Furuno MFD/ radar is mounted at helm and there is an electronics box above the helm with VHF.

Salon is bright and roomy with built in seating and table to port. There is a fully equipped galley with electric range and refrigerator to starboard along with electrical control panel and TV.

Going forward, there is a very comfortable center-line queen berth in forward cabin and two twin bunk berths in starboard cabin.  Full head with shower has its own private entrance to owner's cabin.

 Engines

Caterpillar 3126 engines @ 420.  Starboard engine has 1473 hours; port engine rebuilt in 2022 including new sleeves and turbo.  Both engines have rebuilt starters, new alternators, and new impellers.  Fuel tanks polished in 2022 and new batteries.

Electrical

Two air reverse cycle AC units (one new 2022). New water heater.  New Pro Nautic 10/20 charger and 50' 50amp cord. New stereo. The boat currently does not have a genset.
