The Hunter Passage 42 blends center-cockpit comfort with surprising performance in a contemporary cruising boat with bluewater capabilities. Her powerful masthead rig, roller furling jib and cockpit line-handling make those long passages truly enjoyable. There is even a double sun pad for those long, lazy afternoons. Below, the 42 is truly a work of art. Designer fabrics, hand-rubbed teak, and Corian counters provide the warm, friendly atmosphere, while her 14-foot beam gives the spaciousness you need. The incredible salon is perfect for dining in or entertaining the crew. Any mate will appreciate the layout of the fully-equipped galley. Refrigerator-freezer, LPG stove with oven, microwave and storage galore will change your outlook on cooking aboard. Privacy is paramount for extended cruising and the Hunter 42 with its two-stateroom, two-head design keeps it that way. The sumptuous master stateroom offers a queen-size walk around berth, incredible storage and hanging lockers, plus a full head, complete with a shower-tub. The full-size berth, desk vanity, and adjoining head in the forward guest quarters will be a comfortable refuge after a great day at sea. Hunter provides a complete sailaway combination including an electronics package, electric anchor windlass, stereo-CD, inverter, and a full complement of safety gear.

The roomy interior of the Passage 42 offers a lot to their owners.  The layout comfortably accomodates two couples with two separate private cabins, fore and aft.  The master cabin is aft and features centerline queen berth with makeup table, mirror, ample storage and an en-suite head with separate tub and shower.  There is a second head forward that can be used as a day head for guests with entry from the salon or private entry from the forward cabin.

The salon area is large and roomy with a single settee to starboard and a large curved settee to port with dinnette table. There is a large flat screen tv mounted on the forward bulkhead.  The galley offers ample space for the chef.  

The interior features two 16,000 BTU reverse cycle air conditioners to keep things comfortable.  LED lighting has been installed throughout.


The Galley is U-shaped with a large stainless steel double bowl sink and top loading refrigerator and freezer.  The refrigerator also has a front opening option. There is a Princess three-burner LPG stove/oven and Panasonic microwave oven.  A Seaward propane solenoid control panel is located a the nav station.  There are ample storage cabinets and tons of Corian counter space for food preparation.  The sink offers both hot and cold pressure water and in-line water filter.
