1990 Taswell 43

New Bern, North Carolina

Taswell's don't come on the market that often and this is your chance to own a very well maintained Taswell 43.  LEAP OF FAITH has had only two owners, both full time cruisers, who have meticulously maintained her. She is loaded with equipment and features that make her an ideal home for a cruising couple with extraordinary storage and first class, private accommodation for owners and  guests. Every system onboard is in excellent working condition and she easily passes as a boat less than 10 years old.

The Taswell 43 was designed by Bill Dixon and built to the highest standards by Ta Shing Yachts (also known for building Mason, Baba and Nordhaven yachts). The design epitomizes cruising elegance offering performance, seaworthiness and comfort for the cruiser and live aboard couple.

If you are searching for a solid bluewater cruiser that has been maintained to the highest standards LEAP OF FAITH will not disappoint.

The interior is comfortable and inviting and finished in the best tradition of Taiwan teak joinery.  LEAP OF FAITH features a solid teak and holly cabin sole throughout that is in excellent condition.  Removable floor access panels provide good access to needed systems and thru-hulls.  Entering through the companionway from the large center cockpit there are five steps down the removable stairs into the main salon.  To port there is a large dinette that can easily accomodate six comfortably.  Opposite the dinette to starboard there is a comfortable navigation station facing forward with chartplotter, SSB and VHF radios.  Just aft of the nav station next to the companionway there is a U-shaped galley with very generous counter and storage space, large top and front load refrigeration and dedicated freezer.  Moving aft the passageway to the master cabin is on the port side and provides full height standing room.  The master/owner's cabin is spacious and private with centerline queen berth, cushioned seats to each side, and built-in vanity with large mirror. Ample storage is provided with deep hanging lockers and drawers.  The ensuite head is large and features a full-size separate shower area.

The guest stateroom is forward and features a queen size pullman berth to port.  Generous storage is provided though a large cedar lined hanging locker, outboard drawers and shelves, vanity and under berth drawers.  The guest head is forward of the stateroom with additional storage lockers.
